Havent posted in a while - been a quiet week really.
Spoke to Juzi which was cool.
Will post again after the weekend - Dan will be going to a b'day party ( 1st time) - bless - lots of pics expected !

Hellish Days !...

Well, since Sunday, something has gone wrong! lol
Sunday - I fell down the entire flight of stairs whilst trying to carry too much - luckily not the kids - extremely sore and bruised my shoudler/collar bone a good one'!
Monday - Grant managed to break a thick plastic table belonging to Dan - he said -
I leant on it and it kinda snapped'. Then after Dan not liking the different table he had to eat his tea from we went to a small area of the beach for Dan to have a run around before bedtime. All was going well until Dan spotted the narrow and quiet end of the beach where the local boats are kept - very small ones - ( Opp Brean Down Juzi and John- Uphill end). So up we go - with me driving - I dont drive but attempting to learn. Got to the small end and still - all is fine. So I stay in the car with Will who was sleeping and off trudge Daddy and son to look at the boats. However...when it came to going home, Dan was not having any of it - so Grant kind of beckons me over to encourage Dan. This is the part where I didnt see the BIG YELLOW SIGN saying ' No access beyond this point-Soft Sand!!!-
Yep - well and truly stuck! The air turned blue for several minutes whilst Grant ranted on about me being blind or something in his Scottish 'RAB C' accent, then we decided that maybe if we could dig little 'runs' from the tyres then we would a fighting chance.
Not the case...
Not only were westuck about 10 inches deep - the bloody tide was coming in! OMG - Visions of us stranded - no phone on us- 2 kids, Will awake and screaming and Dan thinking it was great fun and lets do it again sat in the back, getting dark and not a single person.
Then in the distance like the cavalry came an old chap ........on a bike ! No we are buggered I thought- Bloody strong little thing though and he eventually dug us out and helped push the car all whilst laughing to himself about it ! Not recommending this as a'family outing' !
Today - Weather was nice , so out I trot to cut the lawn and managed to give myslf a shock when I ran over the cable of the lawnmower not once...not twice, but oh yes, cut in three places!

Think I may stay in for a few weeks !!!

Suitcases and 'Binny Pigs'...oh and stairs !

So, today has been very strange weather wise - rain, rain and rain, then dry then rain. Every time I went to sort washing out it...rained !
Anyway - Dan and I had a very cute chat yesterday - Sat in car going to town -
Dan - We go to town mummy ?
Me - Yep thats right Dan
Dan - We get suitcases ?
Me - Where are you going with suitcases ?
Dan - In the back of car - they too heavy !
Me - Yes Dan but are you going on holiday ?
Dan - I go see Uncle Justin in big aeroplane !

Ahhh bless him ! He thinks Justin is still circling the globe ! That will be a good year for you Justin eh ?

Now ... Pets. Most people have dogs and cats but today we became the proud new owners of 2 Guinea Pigs - or Binny pigs as Dan calls them. They are called Thomas -(DANS) and Percy (WILLS). Dan cried when he wasnt allowed to stay out all day with them out the back in their comfy home in the shed ( in a hutch you understand!) and stood at the door crying - Binny pigs !!! Hoping that this will help him learn to handle animals and then maybe one day we can get a family dog !

Also - fell down the stairs today from top to bottom . Grant came rushing out -' are you alright ?' and Dan ' Oh mummy - you on the floor!' lol. Got nice bruises down R hand side back and leg and very sore shoulder. My Dad was charming though and asked how the stairs were !!!

I thought my mum was going to pass out. Well thats it - he's gone - Justin has left for Japan. Its just after 1am there Friday morning and already its so strange that he is not here.
Yesterday was so difficult. In the end it was a short sweet goodbye - strong hugs and comforting words, then he was gone - as he walked off into the distance the tears flooded. Im not going to see my brother for a year at the least, feel his protective hugs or see his silly expressive face ! Its going to take time - for Mum and Dad its only just began.
Justin - when you read this bro - we love you!!!! Have fun matey :) xx
