So....the weekend I was dreading has come and gone and I am unscathed !!!
We spent the last 4 days with the inlaws who were unusually nice to me ! 1st time in 9 years mind you .
We did have a great time and the boys enjoyed getting to know their Scottish relatives.

OMG !!!! Just when you though Big Brother couldnt get any worse - it did !

Shebaz walked out of the house last week after being taunted, having crisps thrown at him and being on suicide watch after he threatened to kill himself live on air !!!!
Dawn has been chucked out the house after trying to contact with the outside world.
George has walked too as he wouldnt have been 'able to handle the fame' - yeah ok then !!!
Bonnie has been voted out thank god - miserable mare.
Sezer - voted out this week after being a total perv and wanted to be known as Sleazy Sezer !!

2 new housemates have been thrown in. Ashleign - blonde bimbo , and Sam - pre-op transexual who weres alot of blusher !!!

The others are just intensley irritating except Tourettes sufferer Pete who deserves a medal !!!

How ridiculous. Ok, anyone is totally entitled to call their children anything they wish but please for the sake of the child, think about it. I guess though, having such high profile play buddies such as, Cruz Beckham, possible Suri Cruise and the likes of Apple Martin and Lexie Gerrard, little Bluebell wont know the difference.

Makes you wonder though, when my boys are 30, what names shall be the latest craze.

Oh yes....its that time of year again where we see 14 attention seeking mis-fits, locked in a house for the ext 13 weeks whilst the world watches them. It can only be BIG BROTHER.

Now, I have to admit that I have watched the past BB's and I do like them. Its entertaining viewing in some strange way, but this year, I think the producers are scraping the barrel with their choice if housmates. There are a few exceptions but generally we are lining up for fights, attitudes and romps in the most outragous way possible !!!!

Bonnie - 19 yr old care worker who states that she likes to put her hand down her trousers alot.
Shabaz - 37 yr old Glasweigan fruit loop who is so loud and OTT its embarassing.
George - 19 yr old Posh Boy who is mateswith Prince Harry - has an eyebrow piercing to make him look ' with it' !.
Lea - 35 yr old model - I have no idea what she models - but looks hideous with £35000 worth of surgery.
Mikey - 22 yr old scouser who hates fat women and feminists - should get on great then !
Dawn - 38yr old feminist who hates people.
Glyn - 18 yr old odd looking welsh lifeguard with a bizarre accent. Bless !
Pete - 22 yr old Tourrettes sufferer. All round good guy - we like Pete !!!!
Imogen - 23 yr old pouty bar hostess - need we say more ?
Nikki - 24 yr old wannabe footballers wife - needs a good slap in my opinion.

Hi all

Sorry the posts havent been as regular as I would have liked recently. Just a quick one here though.

Have added a pic of William - little monkey as he is. He is speaking more now. New words include, bye bye, Granma, Grandad, ' elp elp' ! ( help !!!) when stuck down the middle of the chairs ! lol
Hes a real character. Dan and Will have become such good friends too. Still have the odd 'tiff' which mainly consists of pushing Will out the way so Will screams !
Dan is fine. I had an audio clip of him talking about snails but audioblog wont upload for some reason so I will endeavour to get him recorded again. We are looking around some schools for him next week as we have to apply from June onwards for his Sept 2007 intake date. Scary to think he'll be off to school next year ! :(
He's fine though and is so funny. His latest is -
'Actually take a deep breath......and let it out' -

where did that come from lol !!!

Grant and I are looking forward to a relatively relaxing month of June. We are visiting the Inlaws in Scotland for the 1st week of June, then off for 1 week hols down to Perranporth in Cornwall at the end of June. Much needed time off to chill out - although Im not sure for me the Inlaws will provide much of the chilling !

Im off work next week . Just going to relax and spend some quality time with the boys so hopefully I can capture some great moments for here.

Hoping to go and watch The Da Vinci Code on Sat night. I know it recieved mixed reviews at the Cannes Film Festival but having read the book and enjoyed it, Im going to watch it regardless, so will let you know what we thought.

I have also found my Second Life as Adora Bayliss, with thanks and help from my bro John, AKA Micah Simon. Look forward to delving deeper and exploring more soon.

Well dont faint or anything.... I have finally got off my arse and decided to post !

5 whole months since I last posted. In that time we have seen Xmas come and go, William was 1, and we have passed through Winter and into spring and are almost at Summer. I hang my head in deep deep shame .....

So...Today is the 1st day of the refreshed blog for us Bissets.
Im even going to get Grant to do some posts on here and we will also add more pics and links, and hopefully some audio and video of the boys especially.

So...as I sit here and hang my head in shame at the realisation that I have not posted in over 2 months, I decided to suprise you all and actually post !!!! Shock I know and its probably going to be a long one so good luck and keep with it !

Life gets so manic sometimes that you dont know what day of the week it is, or in my case, what week or month it is and that is my excuse for leaving the blogging community for 8 weeks.
Where to start.....

Well, the boys....These past 2 months have seen the usual colds and coughs as can only be expected at this time of year. William is walking unaided, saying a few words, has cut 4 teeth and he is really full of cold. The poor mite. He has had an ear infection aswell which in turn led to conjunctivitis but luckily this only lasted a few days and although now he is still snuffly, he is tons better. Albeit, driving me insane at times as he wants to do everything his brother is and obviuosly cant ! All in all though, my little baby is fine, growing and well on his way to becoming a 'proper' little boy. Daniel had his appt with the Cardiologist in October for his heart murmur. We went to The Childrens Hospital in Bristol and were there for 4 hours having various tests. Daniel was such a good boy and nothing phased him. The end result.....his Heart Murmur should pose no health problems and is classed as a non-dangerous murmur. Relief ! He will have to have yearly check ups, scans etc just to be on the safe side though. Daniel has also been referred to the Community Orthoptist as Dr Wilson thinks he may be short sighted ! Great !!! Anything else ?? We are just waiting for this referral to surface now. Day Nursery is going really well for Daniel. He loves it and has made a bunch of friends that he talks about endlessly ! Including his 'girlfriend' Sophie ! Young love eh ? lol
Along with Day nursery comes along all the childhood illnesses such as Chicken Pox and Measles that he has managed to avoid( touch wood) but he has had his fair share of colds, ear infections and more recently Tonsilitis. He is much better now and looking forward to his 3RD BIRTHDAY tomorrow and his party on Saturday. We have hired out a room at our Local Centre and its a soft play party with food and also a suprise visit from Santa!!! Thats dad dressing up as Santa ! Cant wait but the thought of 15 children does scare me somewhat ! Will make sure I post pics and a write up of that big day! For his big day tomorrow we are just having a Thomas Cake and celebrations with the family. His main present is a scooter - Thomas the Tank Engine of course.
Grant and I are keeping well. Busy if anything. Working hard. Ready for Crimbo with all pressies wrapped !! and cards written.
So thats about it for now.....looking forward to seeing both Justin and John&Bethany this festive season. I cant quite belive that we will ALL be here in WsM for Crimbo!!

Well......where does the time go. Here we are at the end of September. Only 90 days (I think) until Christmas !! Thats a scary thought. And with it brings they mass panic of Xmas buying. I havent done a thing yet - Actually thats a fib as Ive bought a few bits but it will creep up upon us. It was only when I checked my Blog I realized it had been about 20 days since I last posted and soooo much has happened here in the Bisset Ranch that I thought a post was long overdue.
So, where to begin.....
DANIEL.....
Our precious boy has been unwell of late. Started with a nasty cold that hasnt shifted so I took his down the Doctors to see if it had moved to his Chest and if he needed antibiotics only to be told that Daniel has a 'Nice Strong Heart Murmur !' - WHAT ???? How has this gone undiscovered for nearly 3 years ? The words Heart in relation to your child in the same sentence in a negative way was soul destroying. Im meant to protect him and I didnt even know. No medical professional had picked up on it and he had been examined before. Why ?
His heart doesnt beat as in ' du dum'...Dans goes ' Du doooshh'.
After some research we have discovered that they are more common than people think and a person can live a happy, healthy life with no trouble with just monitoring on a yearly basis. But as we dont know the severity of Dans. we dont know if and what the long term implications are. The Doctor has referred him to Bristol Childrens Hospital to be seen by a Cardiologist so we wait an anxious wait.
Other than this he is well and seems to be thriving at Nursery School and of course remains a cheeky chappy :)

William is a gem too. Coming on in leaps and bounds. Still trying to master a consistent crawling technique. He currently rocks on all fours, take one little crawl then flops about on his belly like a stranded whale ! He is fine othewise and smiles all the time, with crying for hours a thing of the past.
Oh ....he has cut his first tooth to.

Grant and I are well - well as well as we can be. Working hard, but happy.

Last weekend was the WORST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE !
They came here to Weston like a raging epidemic of some killer disease. They took hold of the children of town and chased them about. Swarms of them - EVERYWHERE !
I am talking about......
CLOWNS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE INTERNATIONAL CLOWN CONVENTION !!!!!!!!!!!
Now for those of you who dont know, I am petrified by clowns. I cant even look at a picture of one, or see a picture of a Circus as I panic and most times cry ! Its stupid to other people but to me I have a REAL fear.
So imagine my horror when Dan wanted to see the ' Happy clown who makes me laugh mummy'. How could I refuse ? Easily....but I didnt for the sake of Dan.
I was doing very well around the town centre clung onto Grant like a limpet, and was in control ignoring them and singing in my head and thinking of happy non circus thought when this huge, and I mean God Damn Huge clown ran past us, stopped in front of me , did a ' Ha he hi hoooooo' laugh in my face and ran off chasing a poor little girl that I lost it completely and utterly. I broke down into tears and was repeatedly telling Grant to get me the hell out of there before I lose the plot ! So trying to remain calm infront of Dan we safely made in back to the car when I got in and when ready to go I locked the doors ! Dan was none the wiser and had fun telling me the clowns we ' great fun'.
Next year I will be leaving town for the week !!!

Farewell Mickey Bisset........

So, Mickey Bisset is just now plain old Mickey.
We have had o to return him to the friend we got him from as Monday evening he bit Daniel's ear. A gash of about an inch long. To cut a long story short, we went to A+E where the docstors cleaned him up and gave him antibiotics. No stiches though as they like to leave the wound open incase infection is there and by closing it, the infection would go down instead of working its way out. He was a brave boy though but still a bit tender and slightly shocked by it all still which is understandable. I think it may be a whilebefore anumals play a part in his life, poor thing.
So farewell Mickey !

So....havent had the time to post lately. Where does the time go ?

Birthdays

I was the grand age of 28 last Wednesday, the 24th. I was working for most of the day but still managed to enjoy it. I had a cake too !!! I received some lovely cards and pressies and birthday wishes which included a phone call at my work from Justin from JAPAN !!! I cried I have to to say after the call - daft cow ! I also spoke with John, my other fab bro who wished me well :) Its always good to chat to him - adds some intellect to my days ! Mum and Dad got me my cake and paid for me to have my hair 'done' which was lovely and I got flowers, cd's, money and some very funky cowboy boots ! A great day was had. The realization that now Im only 2 years from the big 3 0 is a slightly scary thought as I wont get away with half as much as I do now and have always done so. 30 will mean in my head,me being a true adult, time to grow up and stop larking about like those who know me will agree ! Then yesterday my package from Japan arrived - BTW Juzi - I loved it all ! Hello Kitty bits and pieces !!!! I was so excited, Grant just looked at me ! Fab Justin - just Fab ! Thank you :)
Anyhoo.... a birthday wish to Justin now who will be 29 in about...ummm..2hrs . He will be 29. Im sad he's not here to celebrate with but I know that Japan will treat him well on his special day. Happy Birthday Bro' !

Burnt Bum

This is a funny little tale involving Grant, trousers and a death slide !
Sunday, we decided to take they boys to the Farm. Daniel loves it there and we go often. The sun was shining andit was a hot day so we wore shorts etc to take advantage of the weather whilst we could. After looking at the animals and riding around the farm on the 'train', Dan wanted to go the play area. Its a mix of soft shaped toys, cargo nets, slides etc. Now, there is 1 slide there which is not for the faint hearted child. So of course Dan loves it ! Its a sheer drop, then a bump then a drop again and I have to say that there are some brave kids about as you wouldnt get me on it thats for sure ! So, off goes Grant and Dan to play whilst I sat and fed William.
The 2nd time on the 'death slide' as its called, Grant comes skulking across to me and said ' Man the friction on that slide with these trousers dont half burn your bum' ! ( He was wearing 3/4 length cargo pants with the nylon type material). Thinking he was joking I just laughed, but then when he stood up he was proudly sporting a hole in the arse of his trousers across the middle ! The worst part of this was that Grant had decided to go 'commando' as, in his words, ' the trooosers are too bulky otherwise'...so not only had he burnt his trousers he was now showing off 2 bare bum cheeks, bright red and burnt ! OMG - HOW EMBARRASSING !!!!
With nothing to hide the hole, or his butt, he had to wear my shoulder bag across his bum and shimmy the 1/2 mile to the car. I was crying with laughter as was he. I hope you have all learnt that your mother was alwaysright in one way or another when she always told you to make sure you were wearing clean underpants ! :)

They are fab fab fab !!!!! Growing up too fast though its frightening ! Dan is still totally addicted to Thomas the Train and eats,sleeps and breathes it ! He waffles on about such nonsense its too cute though. William is fine and weighs 17lbs now! What a heffer ! Like mother like son I guess ! :) Eating well and on the go.

Im in agony - I have a kidney infection and am being sent for a scan to see if I posibly have a kidney stone ! Arrgghh :( Not happy at this prospect at all.
So - tons of antibiotics or me and a severe discomfort.

Rat Fans ,Update and LOST...

I have just seen,would you believe, the video for Roland Rat RAT-RAP I think it was called ! Does anyone remember this genius of 80's music ? They showed it on a kids show called Tiny Pop and Dan has been dancing around saying' Rat Fans !'.....lol
On a more sane note, Dan went to nursery this morning with minimal tears and whinging - I think we have had a breakthrough after the last few weeks of his bestest screaming at me not to leave him. He actually enjoyed nursery today by all accounts and ate his whole lunch (another shock) and got a sticker for playing nicely with his friends today. Bless him. He is such a proper boy now its weird. He has even started seeing things on tv, the ads for toys etc ready for crimbo I would imagine, and has started saying ' I want that please mummy'. Today he told Grandad that he wanted Batman and the Batmobile! How cool :)
He can also count to 10 suddenly which is impressive as 3 weeks ago it went - 1,3,9,6,2,9 !!! On the whole Dan is fab as always :)
Will is so funny. He has developed a really cute personality. The crying isnt half as bad as it used to be . God help me if it were ! He sits and rolls and whizzes everywhere in his walker. He has also become Houdini in the making by managing to escape from his bouncing chair whilst being strapped in ! We sa and watched him as he carwled 'up and over' the straps ! Not long until he will be crawling about I dont think. He has also developed an obsession with his tongue and spends most of the day with it stuck out looking all cheeky :)
Grant and I are ok I guess. Working hard at crappy jobs - well mine is anyway. Tired and feedup and still looking for that silver lining I know is there somewhere !
So...LOST ! Has anyone seen this ? Its bloody brilliant ! Im a bit confused but then again thats not hard to do but I think we are going to like it. Ive been assured by my friend who lives n the US that its worth keeping with as it is amazing.

'WHY DOES IT ALWAYS RAIN ON ME ?'
Wet again here in Weston and yet again we were doing a day out to Helidays on the beachlawns and it piddled down non-stop, just like it did last weekend when we went to the kids event. Bloody typical. Got soaked again, although the kids were nice and dry in the buggy.
Dan had been harping on for the last 2 days that he wanted to see the ' hewicopers' on the beach so we decided that if they were any better then we would take them. So of we go this afternoon...
First he decided that the 'copters' went enough and begged us to let him go on the Flight Simulator ( RAF Tornado) Grant of course wanted to go in too to remind himself of the good ole' days so as the age limit was from 3 they let Dan on with Grant. In true Andy from Little Britain style, once the door had shut Dan apparently spent the whole time asking-' I want to get off now, I dont like it !' Still, he did emerge from it with an apprehensive grin. He then loved the Helicopters and even got to see inside an US Black hawk and sit with one of the crew member 'Benson', a really nice American guy who was more than happy to let the kids go inside and have pics taken - A rare thing these days !
All in all I think he enjoyed it.

Dan is a star ! He is so funny. Today as the boys arent too well I decided that seeing as Dan hadnt really kept a thing down for 5 days and Will hadnt for 24 hours I would go to the Drs just incase. Anyway, he confirmed Gastroentiritis and should pass hopefully, but gave me 'salt replacemet' sachets as they are slightly dehydrated. So anyway, we are in the waiting room, the Dr running 1.5 hrs behind and Dan pronounces - 'Thats its, Im going home now then!' and headed for the door. The whole waiting room erupted into giggling whilst Dan was still saying ' Come on Mum, home - NOW !'.
Kids of this age sure know how to say the right thing at the right time.
His latest is - 'Go away please - Im busy !' and he said the other on several occassions - ' Oh my goodness'.

Im knackered. As my first week of work draws to a close I cant belive how incredible tired I am. My brain feels frazzled and is full of things like PAS, Diabetic clinics and waiting times instead of the usual, Thomas the Tank Engine, Dora the Explore and the likes of !
I have sat and worked this out - I am currently working 17 hours a day ! Get up at about 6 everyday, (sometimes earlier) then Im with the boys for approx 9 hours before I go to work for 5 hours before coming homeand catching up on housework/ironing etc for 3 hours finally getting to bed at approx 12 midnight after a cuppa and a natter with Grant for 1 hour then maybe sleep for 1 hours, up for a feed for Will for about 1 hour then sleep for another 4 hours then its usually time to get up and start again ! 3 Jobs, 17 hours working in some way, 4 hours of sleep and the rest getting up with Will. PHEW !!!! No wonder Im knackered. Grant is the same - up at 5, work at 6.30 until 4.30, then boys, then natter, then bed then the same old again !

The Office, Sickness and Guilt !

So yesterday was my first day back to work from Maternity leave after 6 months !
I got up Monday morning and felt sick to the pit of my stomach with nerves would you believe and a real sense of uncertainty. I knew that some procedures and policies had changed since I had left but it freaked me out. By the time I got to work at 3pm I felt a little better and was greeted with lots of hugs and 'welcome back's and then the bad news... EVERYTHING had changed ! All my files packed away in storage, no headset, my chair had walked - ARRRGGGHHH ! I knew the hawks would swipe it all ! I eventually got to grips with the 'new improved' way of the Appts centre today and although I feel like an intruder in some sense I think I'll be ok ! After a week it will be ,sadly , like I never left. Lots of people asking about Juzi too and how Japan was and that they are checking out the blog for him !
Leaving the boys was heartwrenching and I felt lost without them for the first shift. Apparently Dan cried for ages after screaming' I want my mummy' - Thankgod I couldnt hear him or I would have gone to pieces. He wasnt well though yesterday and still not himself today too. Was sick and generally not Dan ! Today was easier and it will get easier and I have no choice but to work unfortunately. We are not that lucky that I could have the choice to be a stay at home mum. I just felt so guilty at leaving them.
Well, other than this both boys are ok, Grant is back to work after having a week off and put a drive in which looks lovely so we are all back to normality- well as normal as we get !

I like it - much more rockier beat than anything on The Beautiful Letdown album but I still like it -easy to listen to. Its taken from their Nothing Is Sound album out on Sept 13th.

Well tday we went to the Nick Jr Jump Up Live event in Birmingham and OMG did it rain !!!!! It poured down in true British fashion - never the less we had a fun time. Dan really enjoyed riding on Thomas, helping Bob build a wall, he danced with The Wiggles and went to ballet class with Angelina Ballerina which he adored. They even got to wear mouse ears and Dan wanted a pink tutu skirt ! Bless.
Very tired and still shivery due to the rain but a fun day especially as we had free tickets !

We got married !!! WOW - 6 Years eh ? Time has flown by not without the odd bad arguements I have to say. But for the most of it,its been great ! We've had a great day - went out to the countryside around us - mainly Wedmore, Wookey, Cross and Loxton and went strawberry picking which Dan loved.
All in all a great day - cant post a great deal more as Grant is calling me to a fresh glass of vino !!!!

This morning was Dans first day at Nursery school. Bless him - he was very excited. He did so well to and told everyone ' Im Daniel' to which the 2-3 age class said ' Hello Daniel !'. We left him for about 1hr15mins to 'settle' in and he was no trouble whatsoever - my clever boy. Next week he will be going for longer and then by the time I go back to work in 3 weeks he will be there all the morning no trouble !

DANIEL - So Dan is fab !!! So very very funny at the moment. This afternoon he declared out of the blue - Wow, hotdogs my favourite !!! lol He also sings 'Row your boat' complete with actions and doesnt miss a word. Its so cute to watch. Daniel starts Nursery on Tuesday in preparation for my impending doom - returnng to work ! Its a stunning place and I think Dan will love it. He will be going for just 1 morning a week until he settles in and then we will see - pennies allowing for more mornings ! I have to put his name in his clothes ! Awww my baby is growing up too fast :( On a brighter note, I have got tickets for us all to go to Nick Jr Jump Up live tour in Birmingham on 24th July. They have all Dans favourites there - Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina<>, Dora the Explorer<>, The Wiggles<> Blues Clues<>, Fifi and the Flowertots and of course the only one worth watching THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!!! Dan doesnt know yet and he will go mental ! Its an open air day with lots of interactive things to do. He is currently obsessed with his nipples too which is strangley worrying ! and has started saying Mummy and Daddy like Eliza Dolittle from My Fair Lady ! Bizarre ! Otherwise the Duke is one happy chappy.

Ok, so its been an age since I last posted - apologies. The tolls and stresses of being a family of 4 !!!
So.....
WILLIAM - What a nightmare this fortnight has been ! Squeaker has turned into Screecher! After continual crying, The so-called Medical Prifessionals decided that Will suffers from a Lactose Intolerance. So, change his milk they told us and go and buy very expensive vacuum bottles that help reduce the air and sugars in the milk ! So off we go like little sheep spending our money. Only, this didnt work ! So, back to the Docotrs only to see another doctor who we had to explain everything too again. This time he said that we have to change his milk AGAIN and to give him Soya milk - no Lactose, No sucrose, No glucose, No Glutton, no nothing I think as it tasted like freshly dug mud from the garden. Also that in 2 weeks he needs to have tests to see what the intolerance is and if that fails then there must be a problem with his gut or bowel. Brilliant !!!!Needless to say that Will did not like this new flavour of milk- but we hoped for some improvement. Oh yeah - what a difference !!! Main one being that he didnt feed for 4 days !!! and had a mammouth 9 hour screaming fit. He hated the milk and on the one occasion he took 3 oz he vomitted it back. So......deja-vous- off to the doctors AGAIN !!! and suprise yet ANOTHER DOCTOR.
This time we had a diagnosis of Severe Infantile Colic- no cure just sit and ride it out. Marvellous !! He then went on to say that he doesnt think there is any intolerances there as Will doesnt have bad skin conditions which is a major sign. So new instructions are to return him to a milk that he was happy on and to wean him asap and it should pass ! What an utter cock-up. In nearly 5 months Will has been on 5 different milks at there advice - is it any wonder his tummy hurts ! Grant and I are taking him for Cranial Osteopathy. Very good procedure in which they manipulate the small bones in the skull to ease pressure that can cause colic etc. Very intersting - link below explains better than I ever could ! Other than this he is nearly sitting, can roll over and coo's away - when he isnt crying ! lol New pic of Will too.

Hellish Days !...

Well, since Sunday, something has gone wrong! lol
Sunday - I fell down the entire flight of stairs whilst trying to carry too much - luckily not the kids - extremely sore and bruised my shoudler/collar bone a good one'!
Monday - Grant managed to break a thick plastic table belonging to Dan - he said -
I leant on it and it kinda snapped'. Then after Dan not liking the different table he had to eat his tea from we went to a small area of the beach for Dan to have a run around before bedtime. All was going well until Dan spotted the narrow and quiet end of the beach where the local boats are kept - very small ones - ( Opp Brean Down Juzi and John- Uphill end). So up we go - with me driving - I dont drive but attempting to learn. Got to the small end and still - all is fine. So I stay in the car with Will who was sleeping and off trudge Daddy and son to look at the boats. However...when it came to going home, Dan was not having any of it - so Grant kind of beckons me over to encourage Dan. This is the part where I didnt see the BIG YELLOW SIGN saying ' No access beyond this point-Soft Sand!!!-
Yep - well and truly stuck! The air turned blue for several minutes whilst Grant ranted on about me being blind or something in his Scottish 'RAB C' accent, then we decided that maybe if we could dig little 'runs' from the tyres then we would a fighting chance.
Not the case...
Not only were westuck about 10 inches deep - the bloody tide was coming in! OMG - Visions of us stranded - no phone on us- 2 kids, Will awake and screaming and Dan thinking it was great fun and lets do it again sat in the back, getting dark and not a single person.
Then in the distance like the cavalry came an old chap ........on a bike ! No we are buggered I thought- Bloody strong little thing though and he eventually dug us out and helped push the car all whilst laughing to himself about it ! Not recommending this as a'family outing' !
Today - Weather was nice , so out I trot to cut the lawn and managed to give myslf a shock when I ran over the cable of the lawnmower not once...not twice, but oh yes, cut in three places!

Think I may stay in for a few weeks !!!

So, today has been very strange weather wise - rain, rain and rain, then dry then rain. Every time I went to sort washing out it...rained !
Anyway - Dan and I had a very cute chat yesterday - Sat in car going to town -
Dan - We go to town mummy ?
Me - Yep thats right Dan

Me - Where are you going with suitcases ?
Dan - In the back of car - they too heavy !
Me - Yes Dan but are you going on holiday ?
Dan - I go see Uncle Justin in big aeroplane !

Ahhh bless him ! He thinks Justin is still circling the globe ! That will be a good year for you Justin eh ?

Now ... Pets. Most people have dogs and cats but today we became the proud new owners of 2 Guinea Pigs - or Binny pigs as Dan calls them. They are called Thomas -(DANS) and Percy (WILLS). Dan cried when he wasnt allowed to stay out all day with them out the back in their comfy home in the shed ( in a hutch you understand!) and stood at the door crying - Binny pigs !!! Hoping that this will help him learn to handle animals and then maybe one day we can get a family dog !

Also - fell down the stairs today from top to bottom . Grant came rushing out -' are you alright ?' and Dan ' Oh mummy - you on the floor!' lol. Got nice bruises down R hand side back and leg and very sore shoulder. My Dad was charming though and asked how the stairs were !!!

I thought my mum was going to pass out. Well thats it - he's gone - Justin has left for Japan. Its just after 1am there Friday morning and already its so strange that he is not here.
Yesterday was so difficult. In the end it was a short sweet goodbye - strong hugs and comforting words, then he was gone - as he walked off into the distance the tears flooded. Im not going to see my brother for a year at the least, feel his protective hugs or see his silly expressive face ! Its going to take time - for Mum and Dad its only just began.
